7th Annual Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase
As part of an ongoing effort to expand job opportunities for all SAG members, including performers of color, people with disabilities, women, LGBT performers and seniors, CBS is now accepting submissions for its talent showcase for diverse sketch comedians. The showcase will be held in Los Angeles in January 2012 and once again executive producer and writer Rick Najera (“Mad TV,” “In Living Color”) will direct.

We are pleased to announce that Fern Orenstein, CBS Casting Vice President, is coming from Hollywood to once again present her acclaimed workshop two times only on Wednesday, June 22 and Thursday, June 23. Presented by the CBS Diversity Institute, this workshop is an intensive experience designed to help actors land roles. Ms. Orenstein will share her extensive knowledge of the casting process and give actors her professional assessment of their headshots offering specific critiques on how best to market themselves.
