A “Kickoff” to Mobilize Support to Save Arizona Tax Incentives

If you care about the future of filmmaking in Arizona, you won’t want to miss this special event.

The Arizona Production Association has spearheaded the effort to obtain a written report of the MOPIC (Motion Picture Tax Incentive Program) by hiring an independent review firm. We hope that such a report will convince our legislature NOT to ax the existing program, which is currently up for elimination in both the House and Senate and by both the Republican and Democratic parties. The purpose of the meeting is to let everyone know about the firm, ESI, and its mission, and to emphasize the importance of letters, phone calls, etc. to our legislators and the governor regarding the impact of our industry in our lives and in the community as a whole. ESI is NOT connected to Commerce or any government agency. ESI is independently seeking information to help it prepare the report, and it needs to hear from you.
