Overview

The Florida branch, which serves the states of Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, North and South Carolina as well as Puerto Rico, works daily to improve the timely delivery of wages, benefits and residuals to actors in our special environment.

We are the hub for the largest amount of production in the right-to-work landscape. Our greatest challenge is to organize the non-union talent pool so that producers who want to use skilled talent have virtually only one place to turn to for professional actors--SAG members.

The Florida branch is focused on providing tools, such as iActor, for members to help bring their faces, resumes and demo clips to national and international producers. Our branch significantly contributes to Screen Actors Guild's national efforts to improve contract wages and working conditions in all media.
