On February 28, Florida members of all ages and ethnicities attended our iActor workshop at Nova University. For those that haven’t heard, iActor is an online casting database that is free and features exclusively Screen Actors Guild members – making it the only site casting directors will need to find professional actors like you.

I was listening to a NASA report on the Messenger spacecraft, which had its first flyby of the planet Mercury in January of this year. The images and analysis it has sent back are abundant and settle old debates, while making some new discoveries possible. One possibility that was confirmed by Messenger is that there are volcanoes on Mercury's surface.

Governor Charlie Crist has increased the allocation for our Film, TV and Digital Media Incentive to $40 million in his proposed budget for fiscal year 2008-2009, once again showing his fervent commitment to Florida’s film and entertainment industry.
During the 2005-2006 fiscal year, every theatrical production that participated in the incentive was filmed under a SAG contract. It is doing its job getting work here for our members.
