Information about The Tennessee Entertainment Industry Investment Act (SB354/HB555)

The Tennessee Legislature will convene next week and an important bill will be amended and brought before legislators. The Tennessee Entertainment Industry Investment Act (SB354/HB555) creates production incentives in Tennessee, and ensures that film and television production stays in the state. This program would keep our members employed and stop productions from fleeing elsewhere. As a SAG member, we urge you to reach out to your legislators to ask them to support this key piece of legislation. This incentive program will help filmmaking flourish, create a strong production infrastructure, and contribute to increased jobs and wages for Tennessee residents.
