Screen Actors Guild President’s National Task Force for American Indians Invites you to the New York Premiere of American Indian Actors
at the 2011 Native American Film + Video Festival on Saturday, April 2
As part of the About Film program at the 2011 Native American Film + Video Festival, American Indian Actors is a 9-minute film that challenges stereotypes by presenting a spectrum of Native American performers of diverse ages and backgrounds—including Irene Bedard, Atticus Todd, Kimberly Norris Guerrero and many others—who share true stories from the front lines of the entertainment industry. Their experiences reveal American Indian actors to be vibrant, modern, complex and funny. American Indian Actors is an educational video, commissioned by Screen Actors Guild President's National Task Force for American Indians and funded by the SAG-Producers Industry Advancement and Cooperative Fund. Come out for this free screening to support your fellow SAG members and stay for the rest of the Festival!
