VITA Tax Assistance - Appts. Starting Monday, February 6

Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (no Tuesdays)
10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Where: Equity Building, 165 West 46th Street, 14th Floor
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program of AEA, AFTRA & SAG will begin its new season on Monday, February 6th by taking appointments at its office located in the Equity building, 165 West 46th Street, on the 14th floor. Members of SAG, AFTRA and Equity with paid-up union cards must come in person to the office to pick up worksheets, make appointments and/or be seen on a walk-in basis.
The volunteers electronically file returns at the time they prepare them. Assistance is also offered to those who are being audited and/or have notices from federal or state taxing authorities.
For SAG, AFTRA & AEA members living outside of the New York area, VITA programs are also available in Los Angeles (through the Actors Fund) and Seattle (at the AFTRA local office).
