San Diego SAG Conservatory Presents “An On-Camera Workshop” with  Billy Cowart

About the Class: In Mr. Cowart’s own words, “Prepared to be knocked out. I am going to remove your brain, flip it around and put it back in. You’ll never act, direct, or watch acting the same way EVER again. The truth is you need to work honestly, you need to trust your instincts… but does anyone tell you how?  What is the difference between a concept of a scene and an instinct of a scene. THEY ARE RADICALLY DIFFERENT.  In fact they are two different physiological parts of the brain. Find out and see it in yourself ON CAMERA, because the camera never lies. This class is fine for beginners and the very advanced because I am going to contradict everything you have ever been told and confirm what you always suspected to be true.

“I’ll give you the material you will need when you arrive. Time and class size permitting, I’ll put you on camera when you work. I will make you better, you will see it in the playback, and you’ll wonder why you never saw it before.”
