David J. Curtis' film credits include principal roles in "The Maiden Heist," "Under The Hood," the upcoming films "Edge of Darkness," "The Last Harbor." and the independent supernatural thriller, "Possessions." He can also be seen in "The Proposal," "Mall Cop," the upcoming films, "Ashecliffe," "The Town," and the PBS documentary, "Slavery and the Making of America." David has also performed in several industrial videos, voiceovers and a host of regional and national television commercials. David's stage credits include the Huntington Theatre Company's productions of "Fences," "Brendan" and "Mauritius," a staged reading of "ONE4DeBROVAS" at The New Federal Theatre in New York, Company One's productions of "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot" and "A More Perfect Union," The Our Place Theatre, Inc. African American Theatre Festival's productions of "Dark As A Thousand Midnights," "Spunk," "Ascension," and "Mama, I Want to Sing," Boston Arts Academy's production of "The Sing Song Show," and Roxbury Community College/Emerson Stage's productions of "A Streetcar Named Desire," and "12 Angry Jurors" (both garnering IRNE nominations). He is also an accomplished musician having been a percussionist/drummer, producer, engineer and composer. For the future, in addition to acting, David sees himself writing and directing a few screenplays and films, because of his love of storytelling. |
