      Actor Bio
      John, a native of Maryland currently living in LA, is a technically trained puppeteer with more than 5 years of professional experience and, since the age of 3, has been involved in the theater, film, TV, and radio industry.
       
      He spent 3 years in Florida as a full time puppeteer getting his training from Disney's Puppet Master James Silson at the Walt Disney World Resort and performed a wide range of puppets including hand, rod, mechanical, and full body (Bear from Disney's Bear in the Big Blue House). John transferred to Disneyland in the fall of 2009 and currently puppeteers at Disney's California Adventure Park performing in Disney Junior LIVE on Stage!, a hand/rod puppet show showcasing Disney's morning show lineup for kids.
       
      He has received monitor training from Michael Earl (formerly Snuffleupagus on Sesame Street) along with Disneyland's current Puppetry Consultants Greg Ballora (Team America, Spiderman 2) and Thommy Fountain (Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Men in Black). He has also taken Puppetry for Theater workshops with John Tartaglia (Original lead in Avenue Q on Broadway/creator of ImagineOcean). And has received Muppet Training from Steve Whitmire and Eric Jacobson which has led to perform Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy in various live productions from parades to stage shows.
       
      John is currently taking animation voice over workshops at the Voice Actors Network and private commercial voice over lessons with Lori Tritel.
       
      John heads up the LA-based, puppet sketch comedy group Fliptoppers, where he writes, directs, and puppeteers in original sketches he and his fellow members have created and posted on the internet.
       
      Growing up, John received years of experience doing local and national television and radio commercials and print work. He has ten years of dance, acting, and vocal training, studying in MD, PA, NYC and Washington DC.
       
      He was a founding member of his college improv team and has studied improvisation in both Chicago (improvOlympics) and Orlando (SAK Comedy Lab).
