Ray Leonard Jr began his acting career at the age of 6 when he was cast along with his father(Sugar Ray Leonard) in a national 7up commercial. The commercial was voted by ESPN in 2007 as the 24th best sports commercial of all time. After that Ray appeared in many other commercials as a youth and found a strong attraction to acting. He co-hosted various specials from Bob Hope events to Local TV shows until he went to college as a 2 sport athlete. NCAA rules did not allow student athletes to get paid will participating in sports. After college Ray decided to continue his acting and entertaining passion and formed a music group that held the number 1 club single in Atlanta for 6 weeks. Additionally, he took on roles in independant feature films to develop his skills as a complete actor. Maintaining a strong focus and the drive of a world class athlete. Ray is currently pursuing offers in sports broadcasting as well. |
