I have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and used to work for the infamous National Security Agency. So, what am I doing in California? Despite my academic and career success, I was not satisfied with my occupation. After a bit of soul searching, I remembered that some of the most enjoyable times in my life occurred while playing with my G. I. Joes and Transformers. Of course, every child enjoys playing with toys, but my play times were different. In the 2 or 3 hours alone with my toys, I had developed complex relationships between different action figures. I had created a story and lived it out. Now, I'm doing it again. |
