Actor Bio

Basil Harris is an actor, writer and musician based in Seattle.
He was a founding member of the acclaimed sketch comedy group Bald Faced Lie and has worked as a comedy writer and performer for local television, radio and stage projects. As a producer, he developed the live talk show, "The Stay Up Late Show" and is the developing producer of Caution Zero Network's new web series "What the Funny?" Film credits include the award-winning "We Go Way Back" and the indie cult hit, "Mulletville", Lynn Shelton's "My Effortless Brilliance" and the short films, "Shut Eye" and "Night Falls on Jack & Cleo". He also co-wrote the camp satire "Creatures From the Pink Lagoon". He can be seen in the upcoming features "Safety Not Guaranteed", "Knights of Badassdom" and "Junk". Currently, he plays bass guitar in the art-pop band, "Awesome". |
