MOVE educates members on contract issues, educational topics such as the history of the Screen Actors Guild, understanding the Constitution and By-Laws, Roberts Rules of Order, membership responsibilities as well as providing a forum to encourage member dialogue.

MOVE believes that it takes SAG actors to inform and mobilize other SAG actors. MOVE is comprised of individuals with the desire to help build an informed and represented membership. Through mobilizing and energizing fellow members MOVE continues to organize and build national union solidarity, inform members about contracts and negotiations and strengthen a powerful, active membership. Since its inception, the spirit of MOVE has always been to educate and inform members on those issues that affect them as professionals on a daily basis.
