NY Open Meetings - Two Added

TWO ADDITIONAL OPEN W&W MEETINGS: PRESENTATIONS ON THE STATE OF THE INDUSTRY

SAG’s New York Division and AFTRA’s New York Local will hold open Joint Wages & Working Conditions Meetings in preparation for the SAG TV/Theatrical and AFTRA Exhibit A Contract Negotiations. On Tuesday, July 6 there will be a presentation on an Industry Overview and Outlook, and on Wednesday, July 7 there will be a presentation on the Landscape of Television. Proposals for this important negotiation are developed through the involvement of members like you. Make your voice heard, attend and participate in this very important process. Meetings are open to all paid-up SAG and AFTRA members on the following dates. Please bring your membership card.

Noon-2 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2010 - Industry Overview and Outlook Presentation
SAG’s Leon Janney Board Room on the 14th floor at 360 Madison Avenue

Noon-2 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 - The Landscape of Television Presentation
AFTRA’s Eddie Cantor Board Room on the 7th floor at 260 Madison Avenue

Email Suggestions: Can’t make it to the committee meeting? You can still play an active part by emailing your ideas to wandw2010@sag.org or wandw2010@aftra.com. Recommendations must be received by August 6, 2010.

You may also submit your ideas through the on-site suggestion boxes at SAG and AFTRA: SAG members may use the suggestion box available in the Committees office on the 12th floor of SAG’s New York office, 360 Madison Avenue, in New York. AFTRA members may use the suggestion box available in the 7th Floor Membership Department at the AFTRA office at 260 Madison Avenue.

All proposal recommendations will be reviewed by the Joint Wages & Working Conditions Committee.

ATTENTION MEMBERS WHO ARE ACTIVELY PRODUCING: SAG and AFTRA members who are actively producing cannot attend the W&W Committee Meetings due to a conflict of interest. However, you are welcome to attend the evening W&W caucuses. Please check the union websites at SAG.org or at AFTRA.com for caucus dates and times.
